COMPANY HISTORY
- Dependable Industrial Supply Co.Inc.started with three employees and a distributorship for one major manufacturer,Allis Charmers Controls.
- Our location was a store front with 1600 sq.ft. storage area on New Utrecht Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.
- Our customer base consisted of two electrical contractors and one export company.
- By 1980 we had expanded our warehousing to 6000 sq.ft. and had six employees. At this point we were major distributors for Westinghouse, Siemens/Allis, Wiremold, just to name a few.
- By 1990 we had expanded to 18,000 sq.ft. of warehouse space and expanded our work force to twelve employees with Technical Support Services for all electrical applications.
- Through the 90's our customer base has continued to grow we are now servicing government agencies, hospitals, utilities,and many export companies.
- Now in the year 2000 we have twenty one employees and a total of 30,000 sq.ft. of warehouse space and continually expanding.
- Dependable will continue to grow in the twenty-first century as we have in the past with continued good service and reliability.
